Positively Changing Lives!

  1. BulletLife’s Tough, Don’t Attempt It Alone

We have a variety of groups that meet throughout the week so whatever your schedule, we can usually find a time that will work for you.  Below is a list of groups currently meeting.  If you are interested in a group but don’t find one that meeds your particular needs, please let us know as we start new groups whenever we have the opportunity and the people.

Why Should I Be In A Small Group?

Have you ever asked this question?  You may wonder what the big deal is and why a church would push small group so much.  Here are a few reasons that small groups are so important to us...

They are a reflection of the Church in the Bible

When the church began in the 1st century AD it was their practice to meet together in small groups in people’s homes to study the scriptures, share their lives together, and worship together.  Our small groups are designed to facilitate and follow this pattern in order to help people to learn the most and grow deep in their knowledge and faith in Christ.

They Are The Best Way To Reach People For Christ

If you have every been a new person at a church, you know how intimidating and nerve racking it can be.  It is often much easier to be a part of a small group with people you know in a neutral environment.  Transitioning into a new small group will not only be emotionally easier, but will result in developing new relationships and spiritual growth faster than attending church!

They Are A Natural Outcome Of Our Core Values

There is no better place to see all of our core values at work together than in a small group setting.  It is the most natural environment to see all the different aspects of our values working together in harmony to create the most qualitative and meaningful positive change in the lives of group members.  (Be sure to review our core values if you haven’t already.)

You Need Both Experiences: Small Group and Large Group

When the body is together on Sunday mornings there is a blessing that you cannot receive in any other context.  There is a special kind of encouragement and community development that comes from being a part of a larger community of believers and worshipping corporately with your extended spiritual family.  Likewise, when you are in a small group there are benefits that you cannot get from the large group meeting.  There is a closeness and intimacy that you can never achieve in larger groups.  There is opportunity to share personal thoughts and ideas, struggles and victories.  There is time to develop personal relationships with other members that you just do not have in the large group context.  It’s not a question of either or, but both have great blessing in store for you.
