Making church happen is not a small endeavor - it takes an community of people willing to share their individual gifts and abilities to make it happen. At DCC, we believe that every person is a "10" in some area and everyone has something to offer that is vitally necessary for someone else - there are no unnecessary people, no extras. We want to welcome you to come and contribute to this great family and help us to make it better and better. Below is a list of opportunities that we have identified where you may just be a perfect fit for serving. You can begin the process of getting involved by simply filling out this interest form at the bottom of this page and you will be contacted by one of our team members who will help you to get mobilized. Team Opportunities
Greeter Ministry: Arrive early to warmly greet all of our guest in order to help them to feel welcome and assist them in finding what they need in our facility.
Usher Ministry: Arrive early and help all of our guests to locate seating, escort guests to restrooms and children's church/nursery area, and help to serve communion during the service.
Communion Preparation: Arrive early to prepare the communion that will be used during each of our services.
Coffee Ministry: Arrive early to prepare coffee and possibly other refreshments to be enjoyed by all of our guests before and after our worship services.
Newcomers Connection Team: Help us to make connections with newcomers by seeking them out, greeting them warmly, encouraging them to complete a connection card, presenting them with a first timers gift, and helping them to find any information that they are needing.
Children's Church Teacher/Helper: Lead/Assist in our Children's Church by caring for and helping our youngsters have a fun time at church learning about Jesus and how to love one another.
Worship Team Vocalist/Instrumentalist: Share your musical talent by helping to facilitate worship times. These roles do require that you audition, attend regular rehearsals and may require training.
Technical Team (Audio Technician/Visual Technician/Video Live Stream Technician): Support the worship team through management of our worship technologies in order to enhance the audio/visual presentation and provide a live stream to those who are unable to attend in person. These rolls will require technical training and attending regular worship rehearsals.
Administration Team (A-TEAM): The A-TEAM exists to provide back ground support administrative support for our ministries and include many different roles including: producing the weekly bulletin, connection cards, and inserts, shopping for and maintaining critical supply inventories, helping to bring greater organizational support to various ministries, facilitating communication to various team members and the congregation.
Special Events Team: Help facilitate special events outside our Sunday morning worship such as our newcomers classes, fellowship gatherings, training events, outreach events, and the like.
